Back up your phone

Download the stock EC05 tar file here: Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!

Extract to a new folder somewhere.

Delete the .md5 extension and leave it as .tar

Extract Odin to the same folder.

Run Odin

Click the PDA button and navigate to the .tar file you just extracted.

Connect the USB cable

Click start
Attached Files
File Type: rar Odin3+v1.61.rar (167.3 KB, 6 views) Click for barcode!

You can't have Odin on your phone. Odin is a windows app you use to flash the stock roms, modems, and pit files to your phone. If you already Odin'ed your phone and did not root after, you should be fine.

How do I rename the md 5 ext? Once I extract the file to a folder it becomes a tar file but when I try to use odin to install the rom I keep getting error messages. It says hash value invalid.

Just right click/rename and delete the .md5 at the end of the extention.
