so about the KB on the Epic

I've been trying to figure out why the KB doesn't work quite right. It seems the faster that I type, the worst the missing characters are. I think it's the key press frequency. it seems you have to fully release a key before you can press the next one so if you use 2 thumbs, it messed up a lot.

I also think it is a conspiracy from samsung to make every word "some " into "me"

There was a documentation on the keyboard patch..people have different results with patch itself but regardless he does document on how it works:

Hey, he updated the patch today! so now you can control the KB timeout to whatever you want...so try it out and see if you can find a timeout that fits your typing speed.

The patch will be built into the next round of EC05 kernels most likely..
