kernals?

i understand that there are different kernals. i thought they were put in the rom. i saw one that said try all kernals. how do you do this. do you flash like a rom? only been on android for about 10 days so any help would be great. thank you

yes sir you just dl the kernel and flash just like a rom. dont get worried if your phone flashes the word "android" on boot after flashing thats a issue with boot animation and new kernel. depends what rom your on now and what froyo build.

where do you get the kernals? is there a list like roms. i saw in one rom's page it said try this with all the kernals, but didn't see the kernals for download.

There is Stock Kernel, Twilight Kernel, Genocide Kernal, Bonsai Kernel, and Spartacus Kernel..at least the major ones..

After flashing a kernel you dont need to wipe or flash a rom..unless you plan on going from RFS->EXT4.and you shoud still keep backups of all your data before flashing ANYTHING..the kernel should not do anything to mess up your data..but its very important to always make backups
