Lost ability to lower volume to vibrate

I use to be able to lower the volume on my main home screen and i swore it would change the "ringer volume" but now it is changing the "media" volume instead. Also, because of this, I use to be able to lower it all the way and turn it to vibrate (it even says so on the manual). Now I have lost that ability. Not sure what i did, don't know if this has anything to do with EB13 or not but can't remember if this started happening after EB13 (which was done with update.zip) or not.

Anybody have this problem (with or without EB13)?
How do I fix this?

Re: Lost ability to lower volume to vibrate

did a factory reset and it is back.

still would have liked to know how it was that way in the first place. perhaps there is a app in the background that was playing some media?

Re: Lost ability to lower volume to vibrate

I havent had that problem but the ability to lower the volume to vibrate is gone. I think they either forgot to implement it or they decided not to include it in EB13. Has anyone had a fix for this. Not a workaround but an actual fix????
