EB13 Laggy video fix found!

Here it is! this was debugged by mkasick over at xda. Here's the link to the thread:

[PATCH][KERNEL] EB13 camera video lag & sports mode FC fix - xda-developers

He includes a link to a stock EB13 kernel with the fix incorporated in it. I flashed the fixed kernel using Odin and my video camera is back to normal again. Excellent work for mkasick.

guess you saw i posted this for you in midnight rom thread, also genocide oc'd kernel also has fix.

I haven't been to the midnight thread today. I've been on the stock EB13 since it was released and haven't really had a reason to move to a custom rom yet.

I just put the "epic_camera_fix-EB13.tar" file in the PDA field, no PID or anything else, and hit start button. took about 30 seconds.

It looks like most of the newer kernels in the forum are incorporating the fix also.

After I did the ROM update from Samsung I was also able to run a camera firmware update through the Samsung software. I have not used the video camera much but I just tested it and I am getting the lag.

either odin the tar or flash a new kernel, the fix works if ya do it correct.
