I think the OTA was pulled because some people were reporting connection issues and something with the sd card. Those were off the 91mb update that Sprint pushed to the phones as far as I know.

hey shane i tried to upgrade with that method followed all instructions but nothing ever changed on my phone. phone is still on 2.1 was i supposed to put the phone in debug mode? if i do have to do that then how do i do that?

I never heard anyone say "bricking phones"..not saying no one bricked their phone..just not wide spread..the reason why they pulled it is probably the issues people had with the update.zip method where things go haywire..which as I said factory reset fixes..I mean dont your member the good old winmo days where after flashing a rom it was suggested to to a factory reset if things are messed up? :P

hey shane i did the exe 200mb file update and it seems a bit better than the 91mb update zip atleast to me cause i havent had any issues with calls being missed or not received and not being able to make calls like i did for some reason with the 91mb
also thanks for helping late yesterday |
