Im about to try this but i wanted to make sure there was a way to go to the market place and get all the things back on my phone i paid for thanks

Im having problems installing. I tried the easiest mode because the updatezip isnt working.

My phone wont recognize the sdcard for some reason. when I use Astro view it says it is there but it wont show up on the computer so I can copy the Froyo file to it.

When i try to rename the sdcard in Astro it says I dont have permission to access that directory.

I copies the Froyo to the DCIM, when i try to open it from my phone it says there isnt an app that can open the file.

I dont know what the hell the problem is. The other Epic on my sprint account got the update automatically. Mine wont. My Girl doesnt even care about these types of things!

Easiest method requires you to run the installation on the computer..once installed and ran, follow the instructions it gives you.

oh and sdcard is not a folder, its a mounted partition of your sdcard..dont try to rename it...

If you have not rooted that phone, use the update.zip method(make sure its directly on the sdcard and that you are within recovery) and do a factory reset (make sure you backup all the data as factory reset wipes all data, sd card content will remain)
