using the tool is so simple plus it lets you flash from dk28. im always around though so goodluck.

so my guess was right about the EB13 tool? that it prob works like odin/kies and lets you flash regardless of rom?

yes sir but it does say it wont work on 64bit but it does, i used all 3 methods and all work flawless. im on 1.2ghz kernel with ext4 now and deodexed rom and this things fast as hell.

Would love to do this manually but my phone + windows 7=

Cant get my phone to connect to my laptop for NOTHIN!

What rom are you on now? and if its stock, did you remove any programs?

Went to the Sprint forums looking for help and saw a link to this thread so I thought I would register so I could post.

Got the update last night about 4AM (in Minnesota) have been fighting with my phone ever since. Nothing seems to work right anymore.

It keeps buzzing at me telling me I need to update security settings, then it wants me to activate email device administrator. First thing it tells me is doing this will allow email to delete all data and - perform factory reset, deleting all data without confirmation. REALLY? That doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

In the meantime it says my gmail password has changed (I didn't change it and it works just fine on my laptop), added a weird scrolling subject line to my email, and removed the email delete key, my landscape screen no longer works unless I slide the keyboard open, and the internet keeps timing out and the whole thing freezes up. Just to name a few of the issues I have been dealing with today. Wish I knew how to undo the update!

Will go ahead and post this on the bugs thread mentioned.

Hope everyone else has better luck than I have!

Kinda sounds like a corrupt download. There are some good upgrade options here:

had same issue when i first got epic, are all drivers on pc and if they are try switching usb ports on lappy. if you need help just pm me we can get you upgraded.

He posted in both threads and you directed him to the info so thats fine..I'm not being uber picky on the organization..I just want people to have that thread if they are experiencing issues and not have to go through 10 pages of idle talk...
