EB13 Source code released....who will be the first to release an EB13 Rom?

Now that the source code has been released, anyone plan to beat the official release to market?

I keep getting a forced close on my phone from 3.1 midnightrom.
I'm hoping that EB13 does come out on EB21 (heh), otherwise I'm going to have to re-flash soon.

Also, they usually have a 2 week window of testing. how can Feb 13ths code be pushed on Feb 21?

I went back to stock last week because all of the DK28 roms seemed buggy. Nothing against the chefs, but I think the DK28 base had problems.

There have been a slew of interem test roms since then. Perhaps the last few were very minor changes and didn't need a full two week test. Anyway, we've got the source code now, and the official will be here in 3 days.

Didn't DK28 leak on Dec 4th?

I bet there is a release today. Keep one eye here and on xda.

I went back to 2.1 weeks ago, I get along with it much better. I'm sure a test kernel will be around later today.

I've been running midnight ROMs for a while now, and I was wondering if I can just flash back to stock 2.1, or do I have to move all of my files off the SD card and reformat since it will be going back to the old file structure?

The files on your SD card are completely unaffected by your phone's file system. Just use Odin to return it to stock and your SD card will be fine.

I guess that not being a developer myself I misunderestimated what it takes to turn source code into a working rom. I guess you still need a few extras like a modem file to make it work. Since the modem on DK28 was buggy I guess it is for the best that people are waiting for the OTA release on the 21st to start building. Glad I have the 21st off, plenty if time to set up my phone once the new ROM is posted

heh, yeah, I got the day off too~! but I promised the little peapod I would take him to the beach. though there is a -1F windchill right now and monday looks like snow. still, beach weather.
