Re: 2.2 unofficial ?

Well said Sprintman, (gasp!) I have been going back and forth between Eclair 2.1 and 2.2 trying out different ROMs, I liked Bonsai for the stability and Nebula 1.0.7 for stability and presentation, but as with all the 2.2 ROMs there are bugs due to no source code for Froyo until an official one comes out if at all. I'm currently back on Eclair with a custom kernel because I like how smooth and fluid it is, and battery life is more important to me than Flash.

The Syndicate Eclair rom was my everyday driver until I loaded midNIGHT froyo rom. I've never tried Bonsai, but I can't imagine it's all that different in stability from midNIGHT since they both use the same base.

I have used Syndicate with the Fluff kernel and all was well until I went to sleep with about 68% battery and woke up to a dead phone. I found out later that there was a bug where the battery would drain until you toggled airplane mode off then on. I never had a problem with stock, so I'll stick it out until we hopefully get an update.
