Please help remap camera button on Epic 4G

I would like the camera button to open the Camera Zoom FX app, instead of the stock camera app. I have tried button remapper (it doesn't support the Galaxy S line) and Button Shortcut. I also tried Tasker but, I can't seem to get it to work, either. I have been googling and searching on 3 forums and nothing has come up. If there is a way to hex edit something, I am game to do that. Can someone please help.

I found the file: qwerty.kl in /system/usr/keylayout. It shows that key 212 is for camera. I don't know if this helps.
