Can't Download Through Market

I'm having a new problem with my Epic. I just attempted to update a few programs, and the little download icon appears up top, then disappears. I then tried downloading a program, and it did the same thing. I did a few soft resets, cleared the market cache, got rid of Advanced Task Killer, and signed in and out of Talk with no change. Any advice?

stock or rooted and what rom? could just be updating market and all will be fixed soon.

Stock, but rooted. Still doesn't work this morning.

maybe try uninstalling it then reloading it, may work or flash a rom for 5min and see if that works, i just used mine with no issues on dk28. is it the "vending apk"? i have stock one too if ya need it, link is new market.

This might be really dumb, but can I just uninstall it and reload it? How would I go about reloading it exactly?

Fun fact: I uninstalled the updates, and my market disappeared from my settings-manage applications list. So I'm not really sure what to do. I tried to download a program, as my market still exists, and it kind of just hung up on starting the downloading.

i just ment maybe its the apk on your phone thats bad, is it the new market? i was never stock more than 15min so im not sure whats on there. the link has a flashable zip if you got cwm on phone or i got the stock apk if its the "vending" one which i think it is.

Yea it is the new market, but I just rolled back to the old one and there are still problems. I'll give those a shot when I get home, thanks. I have to flash that with clockwork, right? I forget how these things work I haven't had to do anything in months.

in the link theres a flashable zip and i posted the stock (not new) apk. did you backup and wipe data/delvik?

So with the apk, I just click it an it installs, right? I knew this at a point I just need a refresh. And I"m not sure what you mean exactly by backup wipe data/delvik, I've never heard of delvik. And are you talking about the whole phone or just the market in particular?

Nevermind about the apk, got that part down haha. No dice on the one you posted, working on the link now. For some reason I was at 30%, went to recovery and I'm now 1%.

lol, is clockwork on phone? if not ya need that for flashing zip and delvik (sp) is in advanced on cwm. (clockwork)
