Unless you have the Sprint to Home, or Pick 3/Pick 5, on your plan, then Google Voice is not going to save you minutes! Do you have one of these options on your plan?
as usual i called sprint about this and they wanted 5 dollars for this "free" plan addition. dont know how it was free but i agree if you have landline limits then google voice cant help since youre dialing a landline number anyway

Call back and ask for the free Pick 3 that your buddy has. They'll probably tell you it's $5. Say you thought the pick 5 was $5. Tell them you don't want an additional charge.

That's when the CS recommended Sprint to Home to me, and for free!
It may have helped that I had free pick 3 on the line I had just canceled.

Re: How to use google voice to make calls?

I thought the google voice app was using the dynamic number assignment for each number you need to call... therefore bypassing through the actual google voice number won't work... leaving you to need a third party dialing app (such as windows mobile's magicall)... I had heard that 253 below's prefixer app was decent... is the google voice app still dialing the actual google voice number (pressing 2 to dial number) and auto dialing the original number dialed (followed by # sign)? or do I need the third party dialing rule program to do it? I'd like a program that does everything magicall does....

I am not understanding your question very well so ill throw some random resources that might help out..

Sprint has teamed up with Google for seamless Google Voice Integration:

Google Voice on Sprint FAQs - Google Voice Help

Apps similar to Magicall:

I use the GV Callback app. It connects to gv using data, calls you from your gv #, then connects to the contact you dialed.
