crap i need help asap please messed up someting trying to use midnight rom

i just tried downloading and flashign the midNight rom here

and went thru the 3 steps that he had only to find out that there was a step that should have been done before the first step. Im VERY new to android flashing so i dont know all the details. basically i tried to flash the EXT4 and i guess i was supposed to use pit/modem with odin first or something. now i just stay on the samsung logo when i try to start up and with i got into clockwork it tells me:

E:cant open /cache/recovery/log

can someone just help me get back to stock or something operable please!

You need to use ODIN to flash back to stock...

I kept clearing cache and reloading rom untill it worked but if u can't even get to clockwork... whoa!... just go back to stock rom

i recovered the backup that it saves when it did that to me.. i still got the newer rom to install after that tho and have clockwork 3.0.?? on mine..

Going to put midnight 2.6 on this eve.

wow, you may wanna figure out ext4 and cwm before jumping to cw3/edify. think ya need to do some reading before jumping in with both feet.
