Need help Pls

I installed the new voicemail update on my phone about a week ago and wasn't able to get any voicemails on time. I would always get them like 12 hours later. I decided to uninstall the voicemail update. I did that and tested it out and I got the voicemails right away. I then decided that I should update again and maybe it will be ok and I still have my free30 days of voicemail texts. But now my phone pops up mandatory update available and I hit update and then it says no update available. I went to a repair center and they have no idea why it won't update and they said they want to order me another one and it will be in in 2 days. Anybody know why it won't update? I really don't want to replace my phone with a refurb. Any help would be appreciated. And also I tried everything. I did a hard reset. The funny thing is I can update the voicemail on my custom rom (epic experience) but not on the stock rom. Thanks

Have you tried getting the APK for the new voicemail and installing it manually?

Yeah I've looked but I couldn't find the new APk for it. Anybody have it?

I installed.that one but that's the old version that I already have. I can't get out to update to the new version. Do you have that apk? Thanks

i just tried it and it updated fine.

My experience has been that some roms update without problem while others want to be a pain.

im having the same issue as you.... i just went back to 2.1 stock and that voicemail upgrade notification would not go away. i try to hit update, but it says no update found.... is there anyone else with the same issue that can help?? i already used ODIN to redo my phone today 3 times...i still get that same issue?
