Ques about upgrading from 2.1 to froyo

Hey everyone. My phone is rooted and I want to upgrade but I have some questions:

1) I have all my apps backed up using titanium backup. Would I be able to use this program to install all my apps on froyo when I upgrade?

2) How does saving apps to the sd card work? Do I need to format my sd card or anything?

yes to titanium question and app 2 sd is simple to use, you just open app and it shows all your app and you pick what you want on sd but not all apps are able to be moved. are you gonna flash a custom froyo or use "official" dk28?

Im going to plan a custom.Any adice on which to go with? I would like one that can be overclocked and has good battery life.

no overclocking in 2.2 yet. we have to wait for the source code to drop before we can modify the kernel. all the 2.2 customs out there are stable id just test around if i were you.
