Startup Auditor, does it really work?...
There's only one thread about this site about this very same topic
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/samsung-mo...p-auditor.html but no one has replied to it since January so I decided to refresh the topic... There are some apps that you CANNOT live without tend to end up in the services at boot up... I don't want them to be in services until I'm ready to use them. Its just plain occupying the phone's memory when it's needed elsewhere. I know I have 2 options. Either remove it or Freeze the app (via titanic backup) but that would mean the app no longer available to me until I install it again. But here's what I know about the Start up Auditor: it doesn't change stock apps After using it in a couple days some of the 3rd party apps which I disabled is either running or currently "restarting" in services... wtf? is Startup Auditor really working or what? Anyway, I still have this installed... at the same time I installed Startups app... this is much different.. it changes both stock and 3rd party apps. As long as I don't see the apps that I disabled in services I think it's working so far at least... for now. Does anybody have a better solution? |
