Texting to Distribution lists
Hi folks,
I found a few threads on this for WinMo devices, but does anyone have a solution for Android? I need a way to create, store, and reuse text message distribution lists. I regularly have to sent texts to the same group of about 30 people and manually adding them each time is such a pain (and I am afraid I'll forget people). Thanks in advance! Chris

There are a few apps like Bulks SMS, Group SMS, TextPlus and I "Think" Handcents "might" be able to do it

You could also put everyones cell phone in an email distribution list that is a public email address (like using yahoo or google groups) and then just text that email address once.
Recall that to 'email' a phone each provider has a special suffix to the phone number: How To Send Email To Any Cell Phone (for Free) Make sense?
