The current clockwork mod version you should be on is 2.5.1.0

sprint should just skip the android 2.2.1 upgrade and move onto android 2.3.

Re: Official Android 2.2 (Froyo) update emerges for Sprint's Epic 4G

The reason we get it so late is because they have to make sure the Sprint apps, most people don't use, work with the new release instead of making them an optional install after they push the update out and then make sure the Sprint apps work. Wake up Sprint make the Sprint apps an install you can go to the market for instead of pushing them on us and making them un-installable. I hate to say it but almost sounds like you are pulling an Steve Jobs...

apps that we uninstall. I want android to make everything be updates from the market.

Re: Official Android 2.2 (Froyo) update emerges for Sprint's Epic 4G

It's all about the money they make forcing those apps on us. It's like when you buy a new PC and have all the shortcuts for computer stuff on it and trials. They make money by offering you these products.

Do you really need to restore texts? I think it might be worth sacrificing them for Froyo.
