must have apps?

any one have a list of must have apps for their epic? i got your basic stuff installed like launcher pro but i do miss all the outlook integration my touch pro2 had. i miss talk, end button ALOT and also a dedicated VC button.

i do love how much more stable this phone is than all my HTC winmo stuff combined.

Thanks,
Sid

Re: must have apps?

For Outlook Sync:

Home | syncdroid.net - because Androids need a good Outlook sync

As for Talk and End button..you might be able to remap some buttons for that :/...

i don't mind the exchange integration... i was referring to not being able to see your calendar appts for the day or not being able to have tasks list present. the full outlook experience not the syncing....

i've searched for remap buttons like AE button but haven't found any

thanks,
sid

I was not talking about exchange integration..I was refering to actual outlook sync..a lot of times people confuse the 2....

Can you clarify on a few things:

You mean syncing of Calender and tasks from outlook? or viewing your calendar and tasks on your phone once they are already there?

What do you mean by AE button?

There are plenty of apps in the Market that do what you are looking for.

First, go here: Getting started with Google Calendar Sync - Google Calendar Help to install Google Calendar Sync. This will sync your Outlook with Google Calendar.

I use Android Agenda Widget to keep track of upcoming appointments. It instantly syncs your phone with Google Calendar and has an almost infinite number of ways to customize it to your liking.

And there are many "to-do" apps out there as well. I use ToDo Task Manager Lite.

Re: must have apps?

Yeah it was a learning curve coming from TP2, but I couldn't deal with the lag on the Tp2 anymore.

Must have app on the epic or any android that I use is Quick desk.

Angry birds is a good game. I bought it on the palm pre forb 5.99 and I downloaded it on the epic for free. Seems to me that there isn't an ad free version... which is f***ing gay!
