Wait a min. Why the hell is the Iphone 3gs beating the Iphone4 and Ipad when they have the same GPU but higher processor?

with 2.3 already out what will improve on this phone, what new thing will we get that we didnt have on 2.2 (when 2.2 official is released) if we ever get 2.3

2.3 adds optimizations for the hummingbird cpu, the reason why it is slower on the benchmark is since this is mostly a gpu benchmark..and since gingerbread adds hardware acceleration..the GPU is spending more processes on the UI..this of course should improve CPU scored (This is my educated guess)

Cripple with 30fps cap. But once u launch a 3d app, it "chugg gg gg juug chuuug chuu chuuu chugs" along. Theres massive slow downs on any 3d app. Snapdragon is pretty much a toyota corolla with flame stickers on the hood. Looks fast but once u race, its just another 4 cylinder motor. Now, the Epic had the Cortex hummingbird gpu. Which means its a ferrari from out to in without any unnecessary flame stickers.
