Thing about old devices in comparison to releasing new ones is also trying to fix the known bugs as well...if they release Froyo with no bug fixes and just Froyo people will not be happy either...that said November definitely seems feasible for the Epic.
Isn't the Tab just a larger version of the Epic and all the other clones, minus a few things like a keyboard for example? What bothers me is that if it's ready on the Tab, why isn't it ready on all the other Galaxy S devices, the Tab already cleared Sprints certification why hasn't the Epic? Realistically what is going to sell more (Tab or Epic), wouldn't your flagship phone be the topmost of your priorities??

Well 2 things...

1) Galaxy Tab is stock Android..aka no TouchWiz

2) There was a rumor of Epic 4g Getting Sprint ID..so thats an extra thing they need to stick on there >.>

This I did hear and but why couldn't this be a .apk file released later?

I just would be nice to actually see what that extra $50 is getting you. Even when Sprint takes their time to release updates (on their own time frame) they still eff things up, say crippled 3G uploads, crappy gps, horrible battery life, capacitive touch buttons not responding and so on. <Insert Sarcasm> How much worse could it be releasing their update earlier???

And after waiting and waiting the build date of the release will probably be from around June 2010...

No I mean some of the issues will actually be fixed with Froyo.from what I hear GPS is one of them (don't know by how much though)..so they gotta apply the fixes..also in sprints book keyboard = excuse to charge 50$ extra..its always been the case...
