As far as I know only telesales and sprint store can upgrade your account to premium...so no you wont..but once you are already premium maybe they can? not sure..

Re: Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone (Sprint)-$149 with new service plan!
Does anyone know if you can grab this phone and keep the same plan you have..
I have upped my plan to the family 1500 data in anticipation for the EVO( that I didnt get)- I was hoping that I could get this for the $149 and keep my $6 month discount on the other lines. Any ideas? |

Re: Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone (Sprint)-$149 with new service plan!
Advantage Club (employee plan) and SERO (Sprint Employee Refural Offer) have 2 levels of service. the Premium is required by all smart phones except the Touch Pro 2 and costs an extra 10$ per month. The 4g phones have an additional 10$ per month charge.
I am on an advantage club plan and pay 20$ a month for my TP2 but would have to pay 40$ per month for an evo or epic, and 30$ per month for any other smart phone.

Re: Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone (Sprint)-$149 with new service plan!
If you're purchasing it for SERO, your account won't be upgraded to Premium automatically if you select the phone. It will instead be denied as incompatible. You will need to upgrade it before making the phone purchase. I learned that the hard way when buying it through Best Buy.
