Text messages being recevied as doubles??

Hey everyone. When I send text messages, the person who I am sending to always receives doubles of the messages. Anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?

I had this issue with the Moment..I don't have a fix for you, but for me it seemed to happen more often when I was in a low signal area (like my basement)..Also, I noticed it more when I used the stock messaging app. I started using Handcent and it greatly reduced the double texts..

op do you use a third party sms app? had same issue on epic but found the issue.

I use the stock mms sender. I do use an airrave so maybe that plays a role.

This happens to me a lot but I'm the one receiving double texts. Not sure why it happens

Airave gave me all sorts of issues including double texts....not sending also....I unplugged it thinking it was the culprit...sure enough all problems went away...but the double text issue will happen random....happened on tp2....I do believe it is signal related....
