How to selectively play music on most music players?

didnt notice anyone mentioning this in any forum. I have about 1K songs and about 100 random sound files on my SD card however the music player will add the files into my que sing its technically a media file. How do I prevent these files being played on say double twist, default music player, or cubed

Man its like you read my mind. I was going through the same thing yesterday.. I have a ton games on my sd card and it woudl always play all the random sounds from the games. Was getting annoying. What i ended up doing is downloading player pro.. it has the option to choose according to folders. Thank was my best option since all my music is in one folder. Works great for me. i couldnt find another player that worked that way

Re: How to selectively play music on most music players?

i'm interested in this too as i have a lot of lecture audio on my storage card in different files. i don't want it getting mixed up with other types of audio that is in other files. also had the general sounds of stuff show up as well...very annoying. i have been just playing my audio using one of my file managers ("astro" or "file manager 2.1.0"). this seems to work the best for me because i can choose whatever i wanna hear. i use FM2.1.0 the most as i like its UI better.
