I rooted my EPIC....Now What?

ok i finally decided to root my epic and looks like i got it done. with that being said, what is there to do now?

1) i'm mainly intersted in moving all these apps from my system to the sd card, how do i go about doing that?

2) when i install an app now, will it auto go to the sd card...is there a setting for that?

3) how do i establish "free" wifi-tether, like i had with my tp2? what apps have shown to be good for wifi tether as well?

4) what are some ways rooting can help with battery life?

5) what are other suggestions to do besides rooting?

i know that these may be simple issues, but they are important to me. i try doing some searching but it seems to really answer my questions i needed to post, maybe the responses will help others as well.

Get Titanium Backup..it allows you to backup your programs and data to SD card...

There is a program called App2SD but you need froyo for that...

You can use Android-Wifi-Tether v2.0.5pre9 and above for adhoc tethering..or flash MobileAP for Infrastructure Tethering

Well you can use a theme with more black color to save energy..there are also mods to lower the minimum brightness...there is SetCPU to underclock your cpu..I'm sure there are some other stuff

Load up Clockwork Recovery and make a backup of your rom...then since it sounds like you want battery life, you can get an undervolted kernal
