Connecting to my computer?!

I just traded my Evo for the Epic and so far I love the phone, but there is one slight problem. I connect the usb to the side of my keyboard then into the phone. For some reason it keeps connecting, but wont actually bring up the "Mass Storage" on my desktop. I didn't have this problem with my Evo. Here is the error message I keep getting

it tells me to turn off usb storage?, then says

Before turning off USB storage, make sure you have unmounted the usb host. Select turn off to turn off usb storage.

but then it just keeps connecting on and off, is there something wrong with the phone? should i just hard reset and see what happens?

Re: Connecting to my computer?!

Were you using something on the SD card? for it to mount it on your pc it unmounts the SD card then mounts it on your pc..maybe for some reason it failed to unmount?

Also what might help is installing the Samsung drivers.

After you connect it with debug mode on, did you try sliding the notification bar and clicking the:

select to copy files to/from computer

If that doesn't work, try doing a soft-reset and try.
