Help Please..having problems with kies connection

Hey all,
I just switched from a TP2(MightyROM) to an Epic. Installed Kies and then the Samsung Drivers. When I connected the phone via USB is Kies just sits there with the "connecting the device" animation on the right.
I feel like a noob again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately at the moment we got TW2.5 instead of TW3 like the other Galaxy S devices..so there is no software option to connect to Kies..yet...once we get the TW3 update we probably should be able to. What exactly are you trying to get from Kies? maybe I can point you to a temporary alternative.

Re: Help Please..having problems with kies connection

Thank you for the offer of help gTen and for the link Jimmy. Found out a friend recently purchased CompanionLink and was able to use his software to load my contacts and calander. Looking into purchasing either CompanionLink or The Missing Sync as I would like to be able to update via WiFi when I'm home.
