How to force desktop view in brower?

Title says it all. came over from a tp2 with MR. Like the phone just need to get things how I like it. Also looking into rooting the phone but it seems like a little more work than unlocking the Tp2, comments on it would be appreciated!!

You would need to change the UA String to that of a desktop browsers..some site redirect you based of the UA.

As for rooting, its as simple as unlocking a TP2 using the 1 click root method...just have to make sure you let the drivers fully install when you plug it in.

I found skyfire beta which works pretty good. Any one know how to change the user agent on it?

I dont use skyfire myself but there is an icon that looks like an android robot and cut diagonally with a screen on the other side...if you hit that button it doesnt let you set your suer agent but let you pick one of the 3 pre-set UA being Desktop, Android, or iPhone..its the 2nd button from the top right.
