TV Out Cable?

I am seriously considering dumping my TP2 for an Epic. Can't do it till Friday though. Sprint is being jerky about that..... Anyway I was wondering if there is or will be a TV out cable for this phone like there is for the HTC phones. Or, can you only do that with the still unavailable WMG160. Since the WMG150 never became available, I wonder if the WMG160 will materialize.

I think we need TouchWiz 3 for it to even work...as seems like most functionality is in TW3 >.>..we should hopefully get it next update...for now all we have is DLNA..

I did find some info about a cable here but can't find anything else. Maybe this thing is just too new for the accessories to be out there. I hate it when accessories are announced but then never appear on the market. Sometimes decisions to buy a phone or other gadget are based upon those accessories being available.

I read somewhere that the TV out on the Sprint EPIC was disabled by an OTA update due to licensing issues with Sprint TV. The option under Sound & Display isn't even there anymore.

Thats the 3.5mm TV out..not the HDMI...that said it is just a rumor...the more given bases for it not working is we got TouchWiz 2.5...once we get 3.0 we will see if it works..

Oh that da**n Sprint. They borked the FM radio on our HTC phones and now they're doing it to the TV out feature?? Geez. Now I really don't know what to do. I'm about ready to pay the cancellation fees and jump to AT&T....

Do you have a device yet? if so you are within 30 days you can wait to see if they do an update on sept 23rd that is rumored.

No, don't have one yet. Trying to decide. I'm probably gonna get it on Friday (can't get it sooner). I'll still have 30 days...... Since I have 2 lines, I'm going to keep my TP2 activated.
