Now to figure out what is different about your phone vs the rest of us. Are you rooted? What apps do you have installed? Do you ever use WIFI or 4G? Do you use GPS or BT? Do you use a task killer or any power manager like Juice Defender? ... |

Re: 3G upload speed not exceeding 150k
I had removed NFL, Nascar, asphalt, amazon, myfiles.
I rooted using noobnl's one click + 1.30 kernel and I do not use any wifi or 4g at work. I use GPS, turn off bt while at work (I rarely use it though), I just installed games so far. No juice defender. Weird... |

Re: 3G upload speed not exceeding 150k
Wow, Sprint takes there sweet time in getting things done--don't they...
Over on the Sprint hosted communities this was posted yesterday: Samsung Epic:3G Upload Capped? ' Sprint has two primary sections that issues are put into. It is all about specific wording. There are "Known Issues", which are confirmed by Sprint and the manufacturer. These are issue that are communicated widely and usually are covered under warranty. These usually have a known root cause and a fix may be planned. Then there are "Investigations" these are issues that have had some reports, but have not been confirmed by Sprint or the manufacturer. This is where issues go first before being confirmed, a root cause found, and whether there will/will not be a fix from the manufacturer. The particular issue being discussed here, upload speed limitations, has been reported to the device team and they are investigating it, but it is not considered a "known issue" yet. It is known to the device team, but hasn't gotten to the point where it can be considered a "known issue" yet." ' Man, I just can't pick a fully functional phone without some major error(s) being found... |
