Recommended Apps and Widgets Specific For Epic

I figured it would be nice to have a place specifically for recommendations for the Epic. I can tell you already, my best investment was buying the Beautiful Weather widget/app. It provides an HTC Sense-like clock/weather widget with many skins to choose from and looks beautiful on the Epic. A must have for those used to having this information when the phone comes up.

I thought I saw something similar that was free. Anyone know what that program is called. The Acuweather widget is terrible.

Also I miss the Sense UI calendar widget.

i found it in the market by searching "weather sense"

it will show free but you have to pay $1.99 for the program it tells you to search for 1st...install the $1.99 app and then search and install "weather sense" and it will also show a clock option for the flip clock....then go to the programs setting to change the clock/weather theme and setup widget on the "desktop"

easier done than i have typed took me like 3min tops

It's actually called Beautiful Weather. It's a wonderful little widget, even has animated weather like the Sense UI and tons of options.

I've also installed Pandora, Google Sky, Fandango, Gmote (to control my HTPC), Shazam, and Slacker Radio.

The widgets for Pandora and Slacker are really awesome.

EDIT: Weather Sense is a different one. I wonder which one is better.

I am looking for that too. In my opinion TW is substantially less useful than Sense. You can't show all desktops, there isn't a good GPS weather and time widget. The calender widget was better in Sense too.

The Youtube app was better on the EVO too.

The Beautiful Weather Widget I suggested uses GPS and Network, you can use either or both and it can be turned off. You can also set different apps to start depending on if you click the date, time, weather, etc... or stick with the defaults. It's a beautiful app really. So far, with it's options, I'm liking it better than the Sense one.
