If anyone likes The Matrix, check out the Digital Rain live wallpaper, it's very similar to the character rain from the Matrix, almost perfect, and it doesn't slow down the phone at all or kill the battery.

is there a widget thing for the calender events that you have coming up like the tp2 had? i really need that.

I have been testing two Calendar widgets - the Android Agenda Widget (free) and the Pure Calendar Widget ($2).

Frankly the free app is customizable enough that I think it's perfectly suitable. There's almost 10 different widget configutions with at least two dozen customizable options. If you can't get what you need out of it, then you might need to build one yourself...

m:IQ is the closest I could find to MS Myphone. So far, I actually like it better.

for calendar i would say pure grid calendar is one of my favorites and highly customizable.

thanks, i am trying it. its very good. (the free one, android agenda) a ton of customization. almost too much. but its nice. is there a way to get the reminder sounds to be more apprent. i have like 5 to choose from and they are faint and only chime once and thats it. if i cant get this, i will have to sell this phone( and i dont really want to go back to the tp2 to be honest). but i may just have to. hum bug!

this one looks a lot like the tp2 calender, but does it have the agenda thing with really good reminder notifications?

FYI: I'm just updating my original list.

So I really like many of the widgets discussed above, but I am not a fan of switching screens just to see them. If you could just scoot them closer together, I think it would be possible to build something even better than my old weather/calendar/shortcuts home screen on my TP2 that I loved.

I noticed it does seem really picky about how close together things are. This might be something that will be solved with modifications or apps. Maybe we'll see something like a cookie mod. :D

With Beautiful Widgets and Agenda Widget I was able (after a lot of testing the various options) to take out gaps between the widgets (or at least spacers). My clock/weather/calendar take up a 4x3 space and look like one solid widget, much like HTC Sense used to look on my Diamond.

I should point out that the extra row beneath the agenda with the settings icon is removable, but they recommend not removing it until you're finished tweaking, which I'm not. Yet. I don't think. Maybe...
