[Theme][ACS] 4/13/11 Blue Midnight V1.6 EC05 - Page 2

Well, that was weird. I flashed this theme and when my phone booted up Opera and Dolphin browser shortcuts no longer worked and they were gone from my app drawer. And the stock browser crashed as soon as I tried to use it. Flashed your other Blue Glass theme back on and now everything is great. IDK WTF happened.

I'm going to try a clean install of the stock EC05 tomorrow and see if I can't get midNIGHT v5 working, then I'll put this theme back on and see what happens.

from fresh midnight flash them went on perfect if that helps.

Yesterday you mention that you using EB13 and the Glass theme. This is a EB13 theme, I did not build this with EC05 files and it may not work on anything other than EC13. The # of downloads for EC05 is so small I did not want to another until more roms are available. Which rom are you using, EC05 or EC13?

EB13. I tried midNIGHT v5 which is EC05 but had too many issues so I went back to v4.2 which is EB13.

I have found the best procedure with installing a theme on an ext4 files system is to use titanium backup. Wipe my system and do a factory reset in CWM3. Install the rom fresh and let it do a 1st boot and then install the theme. Then let titanium backup restore my data and apps. I only do this when I an flash different roms. You never know when small bits of data get left behind between a change of roms.

While test this theme the 1st & 2nd time I install this theme over the top of Black Alien anything worked fine. I make a few changes to framework-res.apk and added the Calc & Calendar to the mix. The 3rd flash, TW3 gave me FC's until I rebooted. I them flash the ACS 1.0.2 EB13 with partition and davik wipe 1st. Then tried the theme again, this time not a problem.

Thanks darren, I though it would but without further testing I did not want to go on record saying it would. The only real difference is the # of icons used in charging + the reboot mod. EC05 from midnight has 205 power icons. Where EB13 roms released only uses 9 charging icons. Thanks again for everyone providing feedback. That's what I miss at xda, they are fast to bitch when something goes wrong. But very few will post any comment when all goes well. I have received more thanks button hits here in the past few days than a week at xda. That's what I like about PPCGeeks vs XDA.

ya my bad but i thought you saw where i said i was on midnights new one but ya no issues here and if i do have a issue i will complain here. lol

When I don't get any comments that's when I worry that the user had problems and just moved on to another theme. Always good to have + or - comments. Your complain is always welcome here.
