Im still a newb to this but Im learning at a decent rate. I will give feed back after I finish flashing. I will say, that I have been looking forward to this update. Hopefully it will also fix the airplane mode issue I have been having.. Keeping my fingers crossed.

alright, its been flashed and is being tested over the next few days. It is very stable and responsive. I have just updated the kernel with http://chris41g.devphone.org/EG22PlusKernel.zip ... Still runs well. Looking forward to new roms based on this build. Can anyone recommend a good or better modem to use with this rom?

for some reason i tryed flashing this ROM on 2 different epics and once i hitted start on ODIN it failed right away. i retryed doing the same on both phones and still failed once i hitted start. so i gave up and deleted the folder. i wouldnt mind downloding it again if nayone tells me why it failled on 2 different phones.. even my friend had the same exact issue.. so thats 3 phone s right there..

cant really build off EG base cause its not official yet.

are you using new build of odin and post steps your doing to odin cause odin is kinda "fool proof" if your doing it correct.

Are you sure Odin seeing your phone and showing a yellow com box telling you it is connected?
Also make sure you did this step:
4. extract SPH-D700-EG22-8Gb-REL.tar.md5.7z, rename the extracted .md5 to just .tar

I had that issue with Odin the first time i tried to flash with it as well. Found out if i disabled my antivirus it could install.. So turned that off to use odin. Turned it back on when done.

well all of the above replys i had dodne all of them.. its not like its the first time that i had used odin. i have been using for over 6 months now. i do the normal rutine. on the pit slot put the pit file and go to the PDA and open the tar file and unckeck everything but only check the autoreboot.... those are the only to files used when doing these steps.. and yes odin detected my phone and it shows COM5 on yellow background. so thats why i wonder why it fails when i hit start if iiam doing it the same way as always.. now if i do the same steps but if I odin back to EC05 or EB13 its goes succesfully.. now i did deleted some file called odin.ini i think thats what that was.... the icon of it looked like a driver icon. i deleted that file since i dont know what that was for... so i opened the normal odin.exe

Never answered what build # of odin are you using cause there is a new build for EG
