I ran the command in terminal emulator and gps navigation while driving works great. I discovered just now that I will lose gps signal and have to reboot if I am running with it in my sports futility pouch (fanny pack...have a good laugh. It's 10bucks vs paying something like 30bucks to find an arm strap).
I was listening to music and noticed that if the music skipped one too many times then gps knocks out and can't connect until after a reboot...It did fine if I held the phone in my hand and ran. (was running with the cardiotrainer app)
I didn't have this issue with any roms prior.

I haven't seen him post anywhere in a week. Hope everything is alright with the kid.

Thanks to all who helped me to get SuperUser/root recognized.
I wanted to say that after getting this working properly, it seems that it has improved battery usage dramatically. I'd only be guessing as to why this might happen, but I'm glad it did. I was just about to try a different ROM that I could put a modified kernel on until it happened.

just wanted to update that the fix for rotation lag works with this without hindering performance..

no i'm just saying this rom is EF02 not EC05. EC05 has a source.
