Sprint ID is only in the extra folder on this rom. It's your choice to install it. the modem upgrade will give whatever improvements they included such as how EB13 improved GPS. I've been kinda busy as of late so I'm a bit behind on what the improvements are. So far so good for me with v5 + EC05 modem, but I haven't played too much yet.

@JB, Since you posted it, I changed the ringtone on mine without an issue.

I still have that pesky Gmail fc issue, but I'm just going to start using K9 and stop installing Gmail I think.

What ringtone package did you flash? I flashed the stock ringtones and switched between them without any issues.

JB,

You NEED to have "My Files" if you want to change ringtones. Going forward I will be including "My Files", "Browser" and "Memo" as they all have dependencies that will cause to the phone to crash if triggered.....

I have all 3 of those installed. what happens is I go to menu>settings> sounds>voice call ringtone and the system asks me what I want to use. as soon as I click on "android system" the phone freezes up and then vibrates and then goes into a boot loop.

Re: [ROM] midNIGHT ROM v5 (BYOR Edition)/(FULL Standard Edition) 3/21/2011

I just installed Timberwolf's EC05 Red Star theme and still no clock in the task bar. Gussing we'll just have to live without.

BTW That is an awesome theme.

OK, fine. I'll do it.

Here is the link to Timberwolf's theme that he made for the midNIGHT ROM:

I have read confirmation that if you flash the AM/PM zip that's in the OP of the Emotionless Beast theme thread, even without the theme, it will put the clock back in the task bar with Midnight 5.

[ACS][THEME][EB13][03/09/2011]Emotionless Beast - xda-developers

I haven't had time to try it myself yet though.
