does the condition of the ESN/MEID matter? ebay had one for like $170 with a bad ESN/MEID

My boss is selling one refurbed with clean esn for $200 shipped.

I was hoping for a clean esn for under 150. Being that the HTC incredible is out prices should be falling.

Yeah but it is also be phased out by verizon so I see price drops coming.
