Hi guys,I'm selling my SERO 500 plan,as most know these are not offered through Sprint anymore.I will do a transfer of liability(TOL) upon approval,also it's easiest if you have a sprint account already.They say the plan is not compatible with some phones(instinct,palm pre,htc hero)but the sales rep at a store by me said she has the pre and a co-worker has the instinct both with sero(i have not confirmed this?).

I would prefer to meet up and do the TOL at a store so if you live in the NY/CT area it would be best.

I'm very interested!! However, I can't do it if it has to be done locally. Otherwise I'll take it! One question I have is Can they port my current Sprint phone number over to it(I'm out of contract!)

you would have to port your number to a non sprint pay as you go account then TOS the line in your name, then port the number from the pay as you go account into the sero account. if the other number you want to keep is non sprint it makes things MUCH easier.

definitely much easier. I brought my cousin over to sprint sero from his regular sprint account. Just like you he was out of contract, ported sprint over to an at&t prepaid plan, use the cheapest phone they had. waited about 2 weeks, opened a new sprint sero account and ported his prepaid number over to sero.

So would I need to have the SERO plan transferred to my name first, then port my number to a pre-paid, wait a few weeks, then port it back replacing the phone number on the SERO account??

As I understand it, if I port my number now, then my Sprint account is cancelled.
