Doc I really think I'm getting this phone. Nexus legacy comes to sprint I can see value, benefits and importance in that.

When you look at it the Nexus S doesn't really have that much of a hardware upgrade over the Nexus One at all, I would honestly rather sport my HD2 right now than that phone. |

I'm not concerned with the hardware upgrades at the moment (spring/summer of 2011). I will keep hardware in mind next years when I start seeing an noticeable transition with all carriers. i.e. Dual core 2ghz. 1ghz will carry me into 2012 if need be. I want a Google flagship franchise device hold the sprinkles i.e. HTC sense, Moto blur and Samsung's widgets. Nexus line is pure Android no cut not stepped on. The only UI I like right now is the Moto blur on my brothers Moto Atrix. That's just me.. I need a damn release date lol |

FYI full retail is $549.99 and I like that. The rumors it would full retail at $399.99 worried me re: hardware build quality. Now I know it will top shelf quality. |

I'm on the fence with this phone, part of me says instant Google updates YEA, and the other half says two years with a hummingbird processor with all the dual/quad cores and Tegra 2 coming VERY soon. And even with that, the dual/quad core will most likely be still only running in single core mode because Android doesn't support them yet. So it could be another 3 or 4 months until you get what you pay for again. Then the wait continues for software to support dual/quad modes. Ugh...Decisions--decisions... |
