LG Optimus 3D and Optimus Pad(aka LG G_Slate)
Fresh off of MWC 2011



The big news today is the announcement of the first 3D smartphone in the world, also an Android device, the LG Optimus 3D.


Here’s what the LG Optimus 3D will have to offer in terms of specs and features:
  • 4.3-inch WVGA glass-free 3D display
  • 1GHz OMAP4 dual-core processor
  • four times more video decoders than competing designs
  • 3D playback, 3D picture-taking and video-recording capabilities
  • dual-lens camera
  • HDMI and DLNA support

And since 3D capabilities in smartphones and tablets seem to be the new trend in the mobile business, here’s what the LG Optimus Pad, a 3D iPad competitor made by LG, will offer you:
  • 8.9-inch display
  • 15:9 aspect ratio
  • full HD 1080p support
  • 1,280 x 768 WXGA resolution
  • 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor
  • 3D camera with 3D picture-taking and video recording capabilities
  • Android Honeycomb under the hood.


Looks Good!!! this is all in addition to the LG Optimus 2X and Optimus Black as well...also, the LG Revolution(LTE VZW Device from CES) wasnt in any press releases at MWC

i feel recent 3 phones that lg launched are worth to be appreciated. I am mainly interested in not so expensive androids like lg optimus pad to be totally out of my budget so its not my cup of tea. Both optimus 3d and black were launched simultaneously but as per specs i feel lg optimus 3d is something more worthy of praise than optimus black.=D>

What i feel is no doubt both the phones have not so major differences but to those individuals who wish to acquire best will definitely place black aside. Lg optimus 3d offers dual lens camera as to capture 3d images and videos.

Thats what black lacks and processor differs as well. Both are having 4 inch display screen but optimus black claims its display screen to have a bright quality than any other lcd based androids possess. Even lg claims optimus 3d to be the first phone with 4 inch stereoscopic LCD screen.
