convo with sprint rep: Agent (Denita S.): "I understand. I apologize however at this time we do not have a release date for when the Sprint evo 4g will be released. Also we do not have the cost associated with this. You will receive an update on your sprint.com account when this can be added." Agent (Denita S.): "Thank you. Just wanted to clarify because the 4g connection card plans are currently available. This device is not available at this time. Tentatively the device is scheduled to be released around June or July, Summer 2010. Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
hey didn't sprint promise that they would launch a 4g phone in the first of the year or something like that. so do any one think that just maybe will have this in our hands by June

Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
Is this close enough to the HD2 that we'll have WM/Android dual boot capability?
|
Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
^^ dont think so, not enough interest from Android devs to actually want to run winmo on it, plus WinMo is licensed so there is a chance of legal action if it happens unlike Google that dont give a crap cuz its open source
oh and BTW, VZ HTC Incredible.... you just got your a$$ handed to ya |

Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
if it has FM Radio (rumors say it does) im down, if it can dualboot, ill definitely do it, the cost is key... its between this and the HD2... only time will tell

Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
I'm loving this phone but want to know if it will work internationally like the BB9630 or the Touch Pro 2. If it is it's mine.

Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
*speechless*
but how much will it be? With no upgrades...? |
Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
Supposedly the pricing is going to be $449 minus the $150 new number/2 year upgrade minus $100 mail in rebate = $199.

Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
oh touché, very true.
but if the pricing is less than a tp2, fees or not, i wouldn't imagine anyone saying "ohh that evo is nice, but that tp2 just has me, i'll fork over the extra $100 for it." if it is priced below the tp2, it would just totally kill sales for it. ofcourse by the time this phone is released i'm sure the tp2's pricing will have a good drop in price. |

Regardless, I see your point and trust me... I'm getting the EVO as soon as I possibly can. |
Re: Sprint HTC Evo 4G
