Re: HTC 'Supersonic' to ring in WiMAX on Sprint, Android-styl
If HTC make a stupid mistake of putting Android on HD2's body, This will turn into WM phone by users.

Re: HTC 'Supersonic' to ring in WiMAX on Sprint, Android-styl
These pics are definitely for real. They are not so fantastic that they wouldn't be. It looks a lot like the HD2 but just different enough to handle Android. I believe what I see, and this is the HTC Supersonic, no doubt.
If you take a look at the caption between the two images on http://androidmobileos.com/?p=338, the informant is now telling the site that the 4.3" screen is AMOLED. If that's the case, "winner-winner chicken dinner!" I'll admit, I'm not too crazy about what looks to be capacitive buttons at the base -- people seem to be going through hell with the Droid's and Nexus One's control-set. Also, am I noticing different colored circles around those buttons, red around the search, yellow around the home, etc.? Also, can anyone else see any seams for the back-plate, i.e. removable battery? I don't see anything, as if it's exactly like the iPhone. That doesn't bode well for a WiMAX, 4.3", Snapdragon, gas-guzzling juggernaut. But perhaps the entire back casing pops off. It's possible. The dual LEDs are sweet as is the speaker. Fingers-crossed they put 1gb of ROM, 512+mb RAM, Snapdragon, Froyo, Sense 2.0, include a 16GB card (integrated would be better) and at least a 1500mAh battery onboard. Oh, and April would be much appreciated. Last edited by johnnycakes2; 01-26-2010 at 12:54 AM. |
