Re: HTC 'Supersonic' to ring in WiMAX on Sprint, Android-styl

AHhhh. 4.3 inch screen! Sprint own android version of HD2. Yeah! Although I prefer Winmo. I'd take it. As long as it has a huge screen. BTW, Wimax device too.

Re: HTC 'Supersonic' to ring in WiMAX on Sprint, Android-styl

Pros:

a) Snapdragon-like speed but could be something else, perhaps Snapdragon 1.5 or Tegra2?

b) WiMax? Sign me up.

Cons:

a) 4.3" screen but it's non-AMOLED. Great size, but it will be a total drain on the battery. A gas-guzzler. Looks great in person and on paper, but after one day of use and you'll be cryin' to mama.

b) And white? Please, no. Fingerprints are bad enough on black but dark smudges too?

By the time this device is out (I'm guessing 4Q 2010), there will be rumors/announcements of WM7 phones for Sprint. So, you might be spinning your wheels a little bit.

But the push seems to be with porting Android to WM devices, not the other way around. I wonder if anyone has been able to run WM solely off of a SD card?
