yes, we do have protection, and are trying to get the licenses. We just found out yesterday that the town were 10 min. from is ranked #1 in gang activity of NC. THIS IS CRAZY!!! Our lease is up soon, and we are moving. Trying to work with the FHA to get a great price on our first owned home. I hope it works out. Thanks again for all your concerns and advice. I am shooting to kill as soon as I hear a noise that's not right. I can't take the chance. I still don't like sitting at home alone. I get soooo paranoid, like right now. But I pray that God keeps me safe! Thanks again, have a wonderful weekend!

there are some awesome rates out right now for first time buyers, i am in the process right now of buying good luck.. remember its a buyers market right now.

have you guys been to the shooting range or anything yet?? got to make sure you can hit your target..

I'll be praying for you guys. Praying to keep you safe and help you to get a new home and away from that situation you're in.

If you guys need any help or anything just let me know.

Also, please don't get too trigger happy. I'm not sure what the laws are where you live but I've heard of people shooting intruders and being charged with manslaughter or murder even though they shot someone that broke into their house. Please look into all the laws regarding that. I don't want to see you guys catch some charges trying to defend yourselves. Also, Just like drew454U said, I would recommend you go to a shooting range and make sure you can handle your firearms and use them quickly/accurately if needed.

I want to give my blessings and prayers to you all. I live in a horrible neighborhood myself, and have had my house robbed, and my truck stolen. I definately sympathize with your situation. I hope that everything is going well, and that you are able to recoup from the situation, and remember, above anything, that any physical possesions lost, while possibly important, and definately expensive, are never as valuable as your life. God is looking over you, that you were blessed enough to survive such tragedy and idiocy. You will remain in my family's thoughts, and we all will be thinking and praying for you.

A salute for you, for standing steadfast, in this face of adversity.

for the dirtbags in life who, for one reason or another, feel that it is their right or privilege to take from others what had to be EARNED, instead of going out, like every other working Jane or Joe in life, and WORKING to get what they want. i cant beleive i never notice this thred before, that so sad. i like everyone esle hate theive, i beleive if they were to get caught doing something they hould lose all there fingers for it, not die just causethats just an easy way, but lose there fingers, lets see them try and take something after that. but them asiide. Hopefully a lot of good will come from this for you guys, and aiso lot of bad will come forr them.

Update: Yeah I agree on the "cops wont do anything for you" a little bit. The detective says he's still getting sapenas or however you spell it on all the numbers that are still calling back our phones and actually conversating with them. The robbers are still using 2 of the prepaid phones, and the motorola Q has been shut off for sometime now. They're only using the cheap ones. haha Anyways, no luck on who they are yet! I can't wait to find out one day and hopefully that will be soon! The detective called me but I was busy, I'll call him today to find out. Thanks for the concerns and prayers and thoughts. We are doing fine, just working hard and moving along. I am not living a prisoner in my home anymore, thank God! I just pray for it all to be okay.
