Just ridiculous, some of us have been here longer than the mods.

Some people post to be helpful, and many post to raise their stats, so you are penalizing the people who use discretion and just don't run off at the keyboard?

There is no penalty for anything. The regular user accounts stayed the same (with the exception of the user titles, which needed updating). Nothing was taken away from the old usergroups, we just added a new one as a perk and to encourage the Thanks system and reputation.

Incorrect, calling a user who has been here longer than you a Noob is a penalty, and is wrong by definition; actually it should be by join date, not chatter count.

Seriously, what's the obsession with the name? Who cares if your user category says n00b? What difference does it really make? In the end, they're just words.

In case you didn't notice, VIP status can also be achieved by rep points. Rep points do not necessarily reflect how many posts you make, rather than how useful your posts have been to others.

If we come up with more titles, then the n00b title wouldn't last as long.

vBulletin only offers those titles by post count and I have no way of changing that.
