Mike was going to get me some info about bandwidth and such so that we can consider moving the FTP to the same server as the forum. I'm not even certain that will fix the problem. If it truly is an ISP issue, then the problem would remain. If it is a Dreamhost problem, then the issue would be gone. Want to help me setup a test FTP on the vB server and see whether Dreamhost is lying?

Alright everone, please try to download this file and let me know if it downloads successfully (its the leaked Sprint ROM):

ftp://67.228.199.237/RUU_Vogue_4350_..._0823_Test.exe

We are testing Dreamhost's theory. If it is the ISPs, then this download won't complete either. If its just Dreamhost, then this will work fine.

Tried using Total Commander/CE FTP client with Sprint 3G... Was able to see file and start download, but it hung at 0% for some reason...

I haven't tried it through my phone, just a regular connection. Depending on your speed on EVDO, it might have stayed at 0% for a while since its a 78Mb download.
