was having a nice conversation with Courtney1985 over in the "site suggesting" thread and didnt want to hijack it. i also thought it might be a idea to revive this one. im hoping that anyone might be able to offer any suggestions to gain rep legitimately. that and if anyone how the different members work in relation to the rep system

We don't have stars anymore, but we have a reputation system. The fastest way to gain rep is by posting quality posts and getting thanked for them. You earn rep a number of ways (# of days/years you've been a member, post count, thanks, etc).

i wanted to hone in on my search skills and seing that this thread was started by wideawake i figured i couldnt go wrong. being that it is old is there any way that we could update it or have a new maybe stickied on the site comments and suggestions page. i think this should include how the new rep system works and what the different member levels and how to achieve them. maybe even have a mention or a link to the elite memeber and the paid member threads

As of now we don't have premium/paid member or an Elite group, just the VIP system. We are looking into expanding on it though.

I didn't know membership time counted toward reputation...

I understand sending Wideawake a donation can help your rep...
