Just started playing about a month ago. It's pretty fun. Right now I'm a level 20 Paladin in the Hajo realm. Name is perasite.

oh dehr...quit now while you still have a chance!!!
I played for two years, did all the instances etc... sold out last June (70 Rogue, full epics, 5 epic weapons, 2pc Merc gladiator set, 3 pc season 1 set. epic flying etc - $1500). It's just a never ending grind for gear. You get the best stuff, then in a month or so there's newer better stuff for you to 'grind' away for. The PVP wasn't that great (DAoC RvRvR >>>>>> WoW PVP) It's a fun game, just I was tired of it and it's never ending cycle. I have so much more time now to do everything else. I actually get work done on my vehicles and I hang out with friends. Unfortunately I just moved in with two WoW Geeks, and they are trying to get me to join again, I have a 70 Shaman still (along with several other accounts) but it was just too expensive when you pay for 5 accounts and all the time it took up. Edit: should probably have been posted in Offtopic section Last edited by Tenny; 11-26-2007 at 08:01 PM. |

LOl Bunny you are right. I just never got the whole idea of WOW. First you pay for the game and then for playing as well? I'm with the 8% then.

I'm a casual WoW player. Loved all of the Warcraft titles. Yeah, it sucks to pay for the game and to then also to play it, but the way I see it is $15/month is a lot better than $50+ for different games the xbox/wii/ps players pay basically every month or so.

I love the games...cant get enough...lol...started my own guild...great ppl so far. I dont mind paying 15 bucks a month and always have something to do...rather than 50 bucks for a system game that im a end in a few days.
