Ram/rom

On Verizon's website, the Samsung Saga is listed as having 256mb RAM and 128mb ROM. When I go into the memory setting on my phone, it says the storage is 112.05 which is fine since it's never supposed to be exact, but the program says the total is 83.53, in use is 37.02, and free is 46.51. 83mb of RAM is waaaaay off from the supposed 256. Am I missing something?

Re: Ram/rom

i thought the same thing when i first got my phone and looked at it and was sorely disappointed. The most likely reason is that verizon made a mistake which they do alot and i think it seems like false advertisement. but i have yet to run into any ram issues as of yet so i guess it should be fine

Re: Ram/rom

i have ram issues all the time. i have to make sure i close out of my programs all the way or the phone starts getting slow. this wouldn't be a problem if it actually had the advertised ram.
